기쁜 마음으로 새롭게 시작하는 한 해를 반갑게 맞이하시기 바랍니다. 늘 가정에 평화와 행복 그리고 사랑이 넘치기를 기원하면서 항상 건강하고 많이 웃을 수 있는 한 해가 되시길 바랍니다.

오타와 한인회에서는 오는 2월 1일 (토) 우리 이웃들과 함께 한 자리에 모여서 사랑과 덕담을 나누면서 우리 민족 최대의 절기인 설날의 정겨움을 만들어 보고자 합니다.

Happy New Year!

The Korean Community Association of Ottawa (KCAO) cordially invites you to our 2020 Korean New Year’s celebration.

Although this is the Year of the White Rat according to the Asian zodiac, don’t be shy about joining us in this year’s celebration of the Korean New Year featuring Korean food, entertainment and games.

Once again we invite you to wear your traditional Korean costume, Hanbok, if you have one.

We will appreciate your support and participation.

  • 장소: Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre

  • Sae-Bae (Traditional New Year Greetings), Talent Show, Scholarship Awards (by OKCSF) and other activities will be ready for everyone.
  • 각 가정당 음식 한 접시씩 가져 오신다면 보다 풍성한 설날잔치가 될 것 같습니다.
    (유학생이나 여건이 허락되지 않는 분들은 그냥 오셔도 좋습니다.)
    KCAO will prepare meals, however, for a delightful dinner, please bring a dish per family to share. (Students or the ones who couldn’t cook, just join us without it to celebrate New Year together)
  • 어린 자녀들을 위한 베이비 시터 서비스도 제공됩니다. (Babysitter available)
  • 한인회 연회비는 한인회 운영에 큰 힘이 됩니다. 한인회비(연1회)는 한 가정당 $50 (per family), 개인 $30 (per person) 입니다.
    KCAO membership contributions would really help our operations and services for the community. The annual membership due is $50 for family & $30 for an individual.

    Ottawa Korean Library (173 Bolton St.) will be closed for the day of the Korean New Year event.

    The Embassy of Korea to Canada provides remote administration services from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the venue. Please call the Embassy ahead for the necessary documents.
